Actor Elijah Wood Says Hollywood Is Gripped by A Powerful Pedophile Ring.

Shocking allegations that the hollywood industry is partaking in covering up and supporting acts of child sexual abuse have circulated widely in recent years – one of which came from actor Corey Feldman, who claimed he was surrounded by molesters when he was a teenager.

Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood is the latest to have spoken out about the issue, stating in an extensive interview with the Sunday Times that Hollywood is gripped by a powerful pedophile ring.

Anne Henry, co-founder of Bizparentz – a help group for young actors – said that Tinseltown is currently sheltering around ‘100 active abusers’. Wood told The Sunday Times that his mother had protected him from abuse when he first arrived in Hollywood aged eight. But he said: ‘I’ve been led down dark paths to realize that these things are probably still happening. If you’re innocent, you have very little knowledge of the world and you want to succeed.’

He added: ‘People with parasitic interests will see you as their prey. What upsets me about these situations is that the victims can’t speak as loudly as the people in power.’ In the interview, Wood also spoke about Jimmy Savile, a British entertainer who sexually abused dozens of victims over 50 years. Despite him being a dangerous abuser, he was knighted by the Queen and his crimes were only revealed after his death.

Anne Henry believes that most child actors who went off the rails later in their life were abused as a child in Hollywood.

She said: ‘This problem has been endemic in Hollywood for a long time and it’s finally coming to light. Very bad people are still working here, protected by their friends.’

In the last 10 years, several wealthy and significant people involved in the industry have been convicted, but the crisis is clearly not over. We live in a world where criminals run the show… it is about time people start blowing the whistle!

“If you’re not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” ― Malcolm X
