This single image takes you on a journey through over 100 million stars and thousands of embedded star clusters all in a small section of the Andromeda galaxy stretching across over 40,000 light years.  The 1.5 billion pixel image (69, 536 x 22, 230) is made up of 411 Hubble images and requires about 4.3 GB disk space to store. That means you would need more than 600 HD television screens to display the whole thing!
