Teen With Down Syndrome Is Determined To Become A Model

Madeline Stuart has been making headlines since last year when she decided to become a model. Most of the time being a model wouldn’t matter much, but this beautiful young woman is making a difference with the one thing that separated her from other models- Maddy has down syndrome.

Maddy was frustrated with the extra weight she had holding her back, so with the help of her mother and activities like swimming and dancing she dropped 44 pounds. Her new found energy and confidence inspired her successful career of modeling, and her inspiring story soon found a supporter in the Living Dead Label, which prides itself on signing models with an array of body types.

“People with Down syndrome can do anything, they just do it at their own pace. Give them a chance and you will be rewarded beyond your greatest expectations”

She strives to let people know that even with Down syndrome life is a blessing to be celebrated.

“She loves the camera! People need to see how she shines, how her personality just bursts out.”

Anyone who has seen Madeline says she lights up the catwalk, with her bubbly personality and sweet determination for greatness. Help Maddy get her message across by giving her photos a share, together we can make the world a better place.  16

“I love modelling because it is a way to express myself when words don’t always come easy.”

“I hope through modelling I can change societies view of people with Disabilities, exposure is creating awareness, acceptance and inclusion.”
