These Images From Around The World Will Show You What “Women’s Work” Really Looks Like

There was a time when the term women’s work brought up only stereotypical images of women in the home cooking, cleaning, taking care of the children. Being a mother, cook, house keeper, or all of the above are amazing and important jobs, however they should never be considered the only work suited for women. We need to redefine what we think of when we say “women’s work”.

According to  the World Bank women make up 40 percent of the world’s labor force, but hold just 1 percent of the world’s wealth.
